Terms of Service

The terms that apply when a club or coach uses Streamline Breakout.

Last updated 10 September 2026

1. About the service

Streamline Breakout (the “Service”) is provided by MadeByCaffeinated Ltd, Company number 17111544 (“we”, “us” or “our”).

The Service helps swimming clubs and their authorised users organise swimmer and squad records, poolside testing, training and season plans, competition calendars, relay selections and related coaching work.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a club or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept them on its behalf. Any separate written agreement with your club takes priority if it expressly conflicts with these terms.

A coach requesting access for a club that does not yet have a workspace must confirm that the club has given them permission to request access. We record that confirmation with the registration, together with the version of these terms and the time it was accepted.

3. Accounts and access

  • Access is invitation-only and accounts must not be shared.
  • You must provide accurate account information and protect your password.
  • Your club controls which users can access its workspace and is responsible for removing access when it is no longer appropriate.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe an account or club workspace has been accessed without permission.

4. Club and swimmer data

Clubs decide what swimmer information is entered or imported and why it is used. Each club is responsible for having an appropriate lawful basis, providing required notices, responding to data rights requests and meeting its safeguarding obligations—particularly where swimmers are children.

You must only add, import, view or export personal information when your role authorises you to do so. You retain ownership of content submitted to the Service and give us permission to host, process, back up and display it only as needed to operate and support the Service.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully or infringe another person’s rights;
  • attempt to bypass access controls or access another club’s data;
  • upload malicious code or interfere with the Service’s operation;
  • scrape, resell or reverse engineer the Service except where law permits;
  • use outputs as a substitute for safeguarding, medical or professional judgement.

6. Coaching tools and third-party information

Calculators, suggested training cycles, team selections and other outputs are decision-support tools. They may depend on incomplete, outdated or incorrectly entered data. Coaches remain responsible for checking every output and applying their professional judgement, competition rules, swimmer welfare and safeguarding requirements.

Some information may be imported from third-party sources such as Swim England. Those services remain subject to their own terms and availability, and we do not control their accuracy or continued access.

7. Our intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, its software, branding and original content. We grant authorised users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for their club’s internal coaching and administration while access remains active.

8. Availability, changes and suspension

We aim to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, security work or circumstances outside our control may interrupt access. We may improve, replace or retire features. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or data, investigate misuse, comply with law or address non-payment under a club’s agreement.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate source data or decisions made from unchecked outputs. Any additional limits agreed with a club are set out in its written service agreement.

10. Ending access

You may stop using the Service at any time. A club administrator may disable user accounts, and the club may ask us to close its workspace in line with its service agreement. Provisions intended to continue—such as intellectual property, liability and governing law—survive termination.

11. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will publish the revised date here. For a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected clubs. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that applicable law gives you.
